This tab-delimited file, stc2015_5yr.txt, prepared from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Technology Assessment and Forecast (TAF) database, displays a listing of geographic regions from which utility patents (i.e., patents for invention) originated during the indicated 5 year time period and a corresponding count of patents for each of the years of the period. Each displayed annual count corresponds to the count of patents received in a calendar year (January 1 to December 31). It will import into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This file generally contains the contents of the PTMT report, Patenting In Technology Classes Breakout By Geographic Origin (State and Country), CLASS ALL, ALL CLASSES, available on the USPTO Web Site at: https://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/ido/oeip/taf/tecstc/allclstc_gd.htm

This curated dataset consists of 269,353 patent documents (published patent applications and granted patents) spanning the 1976 to 2016 period and is intended to help identify promising R&D on the horizon in diagnostics, therapeutics, data analytics, and model biological systems.

Contains selected bibliographic (selected front page data fields) patent data for utility patents granted since 1963 and for other patent documents granted since 1977. The bibliographic data are extracted from the USPTO's Technology Assessment and Forecast (TAF) database and are presented in a form that facilitates loading into database software (e.g., for analysis).

Use this API to retrieve patent assignment information from the USPTO assignment search database and generate XML files with the search results. An XML file with search results contains a list of found documents and their categorization. For API, please use Chrome or Safari browser.

Contains detailed U.S. District Courts patent litigation data on 74,623 unique court cases filed during the period 1963 - 2016. The data was collected from the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) and RECAP as sources for all of the content. The final output datasets, provided in five different files, include information on the litigating parties involved and their attorneys; the cause of action; the court location; important dates in the litigation history; and, covering over 5 million document level information from the docket reports, descriptions of all documents submitted in a given case.

The Bulk Search and Download API allows searching published patent applications (pre-grant publications, pgpubs) and issued patents (patent grants) across various fields from 2001 to present, and to request a custom zip package for the given patent application or patent ids. Download up to 100 document numbers at a time. Wait time can vary based on the number of requests being processed.

Contains the full text of each patent grant issued weekly (Tuesdays) from January 6, 1976 to present (excludes images/drawings). Subset of the Patent Grant Full Text Data with Embedded TIFF Images.

Also includes Full-Text for Utility patents (no Designs, or Plants, etc.) extracted from the USPTO Patent Full Text (PatFT) web database for 1971 - 1975.

Pending and registered trademark text data (no images) to include word mark, serial number, registration number, filing date, registration date, goods and services, classification number(s), status code(s), and design search code(s).

Contains detailed information derived from the Office Actions issued by patent examiners to applicants during the patent examination process. The “Office Action” is a written notification to the applicant of the examiner’s decision on patentability. It generally discloses the reasons for any rejections, objections, or requirements and includes relevant information or references that the applicant may find useful for responding to the examiner and deciding whether to continue prosecuting the application.

This API allows for daily refresh and retrieval of rejection data from Office Actions mailed from June 1, 2018 to 180 days prior to the current date. It contains document level data including the type of actions taken on claims in the Office Action.

Contains the full text, images/drawings, and complex work units (tables, mathematical expressions, chemical structures, and genetic sequence data) of each patent grant issued weekly (Tuesdays) from January 2, 2001 to present.
